When you create a student profile, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, school, graduation year, major, experience level, role interests, location preferences, and AI skills. This information is used solely to match you with relevant job opportunities on AccruHire.
When you click an apply link, we record that click (including the job ID and your student ID) to track platform analytics. We do not collect any information from the employer's external application system.
We collect standard web analytics (page views, session data) to understand how the platform is used. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual users.
We use your profile information to match you with relevant job listings. AI matching compares your profile against active job postings to surface the most relevant roles. This processing happens automatically when new jobs are posted.
We use your email address to send you match notifications and weekly digests of new roles that fit your profile. You can opt out of these emails at any time by emailing accruhire@gmail.com.
We share your contact information with employers only if you explicitly accept their interest in your profile. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
AccruHire does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Your profile data is used only for the matching and notification functions described above.
You can request deletion of your AccruHire profile and all associated data at any time by emailing accruhire@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 14 business days.
AccruHire uses localStorage (not cookies) to store your student session on your device. This allows the platform to remember you between visits without requiring a login. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers independently of your profile submission.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
Your data is stored in Supabase, a GDPR-compliant cloud database with encryption at rest and in transit. We use service-level security to restrict access to your data.
